About Us.

Our Story
In 2021, Nuwasasira Emmanuel conceived the idea of Golden Voice Foundation Africa. The idea was to create a platform focusing on empowering young men and boy child as a way of curbing increased rate of crime, drug abuse among young males and gender inequalities. This was to be done through sensitization addressing challenges faced by young males, advocacy and skilling to contain the causes of the problem.
He went out to test this concept in his first study in Eastern Uganda where he received overwhelming numbers of the young males telling their sad stories. The noted challenges included men that are beaten up by their wives, men having no say on the number children they want, wives using divorces as a trick to claim part of their husband’s property and courts of law always ruling in favor of women (viewing them to be marginalized). Young boys facing a problem of child labour and school dropout for gold mine in Busia district. Pressure from families of their partners to pay high bride price and unemployment, yet, males are seen as bread winners in the home are only some of the battles that cause males most desperation and drug abuse and surrendering to being used by other people for criminal acts to achieve their missions. That was the birth of the vision on which we have been developing and innovating to date.
